What are PlayerBots?

PlayerBots lets you add bot companions to your party. These can be randomly generated bots or your own alt characters. Bots will fight alongside you, heal, tank, and even loot and equip gear.

Getting Started

To add a random bot to your party: .playerbots bot random add

To add one of your own alts as a bot: .playerbots bot add 

To remove a bot: .playerbots bot remove 

To remove all bots: .playerbots bot remove *

Controlling Your Bots

Bots follow your commands in chat. You can whisper a specific bot or use /p for party-wide commands.

Common commands:

• follow - Bot follows you
• stay - Bot stops and holds position
• attack - Bot attacks your current target
• passive - Bot won't engage enemies
• co (combat) - Bot returns to normal combat behavior

Non-Combat (NC) Commands

Use these for out-of-combat actions. Prefix commands with nc to ensure they execute outside of combat:

• nc follow - Follow without interrupting if combat starts
• nc stay - Hold position regardless of combat state
• nc loot - Loot without engaging enemies
• nc patrol - Bot patrols an area without attacking
• nc move - Move to a location without triggering combat

NC commands are useful when you want bots to perform tasks without them breaking off to fight.

Roles and Behavior

Tell bots what role to play:

• tank - Bot will taunt and hold aggro
• heal - Bot prioritizes healing
• dps - Bot focuses on damage

Looting and Gear

Bots can loot automatically. Useful commands:

• loot - Bot loots nearby corpses
• equip - Bot equips best gear from inventory
• sell - Bot sells junk when at vendor

Using Your Alts as Bots

This is a powerful feature. Any alt on your account can be added as a bot. While they're in your party as a bot, they gain XP, loot gear, and earn gold — all of which stays on that character. When you log into your alt later, everything they earned is there.

Perfect for leveling alts, farming, or just having a reliable party without needing other players.

Useful Tips

• Bots use their actual gear, so equip your alts before adding them as bots
• You can summon bots anywhere, no need to be near them
• Bots will resurrect automatically after combat if they die
• Bots can be set to auto-equip upgrades as they loot them
